Critique
The three photos above are fairly different. The two on the right seem abandon. The picture of the cat has a very small f-stop and a short depth of field. The water in the center picture is very calm and makes the area seem abandon.
Reflection
I took this photo when we went as a class to the field to take portrait photos. The background blurs in these photos are very similar. I added blur to her shoulder in Photoshop so it looked like i had a smaller f-stop.
